Abu Dhabi wants to invested more than a quater of a billion dollars in Virgin Galactic and in exchange for this investment they want to receive “Exclusive regional rights” to launch both tourism and research flights into space. Aabar Investments also plans to pay an extra $100 million to fund a program that will launch small satellites into orbit, and will build spaceport facilities in Abu Dhabi.</p> <p>The deal has not been approved yet, but Richard Branson has nothing to worry about. Virgin Galactic has already taken 300 reservations at $ 200,000 each and is holding $40 million in deposits. The guy from <a href="http://www.geekologie.com/mt/mt-search.cgi?tag=desk&blog_id=1" target="_blank">Geekologie</a> did a really funny post on it.</p> <p>The Walkstation was manufactured by Steelcase, there wasn’t much detail available on this desk but they did mention that it could retail at $6 500 - any takers?</p> <p>The V1, starts at $1 700 and can be customized, it just looks weird and it will take up far to much room.</p> <p>Hans Solo in Carbonite desk was made by Tom Spina Designs for some super Star Wars fan.</p> <p>The Steampunk Desk is a line from artist Dale Mathis. The desk features dozens of gears that all sync together, the effect is that the entire desk is running under is own power.
